Inter-Island Ferry
Offering daily interisland ferry service between Honolulu, O‘ahu and
Kahului, Maui.
Rental cars are prohibited. The registered owner of
the vehicle must be present or a notarized "Authorized-to-Move Form" must be
presented in lieu thereof (Hawaii State Law HRS 286-271).

(877-443-3779) from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. HST seven days per week.
- Book early. When you know your travel dates, purchase your tickets
online. Check routes and schedules, along with current fares.
- Print your boarding passes in advance to save time.
- Make sure your vehicle is free of mud and caked-on dirt.
- Unlock all vehicle compartments for easy inspection. Everything in the
vehicle, including all containers and carry-ons, is subject to security
inspection. Be sure to follow the security and agriculture rules.
- Arrive early. All passengers with vehicles must be at the
terminal at least one hour prior to departure. Representatives
will be available to assist you and answer any questions you may have.
- Simply leave all equipment in your bus or van and drive right on.
Contents are safe and secure below decks, monitored by a video security
system.
- Drivers must provide valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and
proof of valid insurance, so please have these ready.
- In addition to a ticket, each passenger 18 and older must have a
government-issued photo ID.
- Have your reservation number handy or, better yet, your pre-printed
boarding passes.
- If you need a wheelchair, please bring your own with you. Hawaii
Superferry is wheelchair accessible, but does not supply wheelchairs. If
you have any other special needs, a sales manager or representative will
be happy to help.
- Bring extra money for a snack or a meal on board. Full food and
beverage service is offered in the dining areas. You will find freshly
made island favorites at The Galley and Surf Break Lanai and The Calabash
is stocked with fresh fruits, snacks, newspapers and gifts.
- Bring a computer if you like. Wi-Fi* service is available on board,
and there are plenty of power outlets to keep laptops humming.
- If the vehicle's owner is present, please bring:

- Valid registration for each vehicle, including towed trailers and
vehicles on trailers. (A valid certificate of ownership signed by the
previous owner may be substituted for the current certificate of
registration for a vehicle purchased within 30 days of transportation.)
- Proof of motor vehicle insurance.
- If the registered owner is not traveling, please bring:

"Authorized-To-Move-Vehicle" letter for each vehicle, including all
trailers and vehicles on trailers, signed by the registered owner and
notarized by a notary public. (A registered owner’s agent includes the
registered owner’s immediate family members.)
